Your Data Stays on Your Device

Zada does not require an account, and everything you enter — subscription names, prices, billing dates, categories, notes, and any photos you pick as logos — is stored only on your device. Apart from the screenshot import described below, we have no servers holding your data, and we cannot see it. We do not run analytics, and Zada does not track you across other apps or websites. Google's AdMob advertising SDK is bundled in the app so that ads can be switched on in a future release — in this version it is never started, serves no ads, and collects nothing.

Notifications

Billing reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device by the app. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party to deliver them.

Importing from a Screenshot

Zada can read a screenshot of your subscriptions and turn it into entries for you. This is the only feature that sends your content off the device. When you pick a screenshot, the image is uploaded to our scan service together with your display currency, today’s date, and an anonymous identifier — never your name, your email, or the subscriptions already in the app. The image is processed by an AI model to read the subscription details out of it. Zada does not keep the image — it is discarded as soon as the details have been read — and it is never used to train any model. The AI provider that runs the model may retain the request briefly on its own systems under its data policy. If you never use this feature, nothing leaves your device through it.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play, together with RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider. They receive an anonymized identifier and your purchase history — never your payment card details, and never your subscription data. Purchase records are retained so your purchases can be restored on new devices.

Deleting Your Data

You can erase everything at any time from Settings → My Data in the app, or simply by deleting the app — because your data lives only on your device, removing the app removes the data. Purchase records held by the app stores and RevenueCat are retained as required to honor refunds and purchase restoration.
